Meet Jessica Jones, MSN, WHNP-BC

Jessica Jones is excited to join the Women’s Health of Central Virginia team as a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University Carilion. Jessica went on to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and is certified through the National Certification Corporation (NCC).

Her clinical interests include prenatal and postpartum care, lactation support, preconception and fertility counseling, contraceptive counseling and family planning and menopause management. After working as a labor and delivery nurse for four years, Jessica discovered her passion for women’s health and the importance of providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She values forming meaningful, therapeutic relationships and strives to empower women through every stage of life by creating a space where they feel heard, supported and confident in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends—especially outdoors. She also loves trying new restaurants, going to the movies and taking in the beautiful mountain views of her hometown, Roanoke, Virginia.
