MEET DR. CHRISTINE A. MARRACCINI
With over 25 years of experience serving the women of Lynchburg, Dr. Christine Marraccini is a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN physician committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. She completed her medical training at Emory University, where she trained at a high-volume academic center, gaining extensive experience in both routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic care.
Dr. Marraccini is a firm advocate for women’s autonomy, believing that every woman deserves the right to make informed decisions about her own health. She takes the time to listen to her patients, ensuring they feel empowered and supported throughout every stage of life.
As a mother of four, she has personally navigated the full spectrum of a woman’s reproductive journey—from pregnancy and childbirth to breastfeeding, perimenopause, and now the postmenopausal years. This firsthand experience, combined with her clinical expertise, allows her to offer compassionate and insightful care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
In addition to comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, Dr. Marraccini is passionate about women’s overall wellness and disease prevention. She emphasizes proactive health management, offering weight management and lifestyle counseling to help prevent medical issues before they develop.
